Conservation Connection

We are strong believers in sharing our skills and our support, reaching out to and working alongside a few of the incredible organizations that grace this planet. So we have set up a community of charities and community groups to assist us in our work. This ‘Conservation Connection’ partner group will allow for ambitious, long-term collaboration and consistent, focused messaging campaigns for the field.

The initiative is also grateful for its support from tech providers including Google, Microsoft, Canva, Fotor, and Renderforest.

Below are some of the current partners involved in this venture, which launched in October 2019…

Nature needs half

Nature Needs Half is an international coalition of scientists, conservationists, nonprofits, and public officials defending nature at the scale she needs to continue to function for the benefit of all life, and support human well-being. We can stop the sixth mass extinction if we protect approximately 50% of each of the 846 ecoregions but this means finding leaders and organizations around the world willing to align existing efforts around protecting and interconnecting nature in their region. At Nature Needs Half, our goal is to protect 50% of the planet by 2030 - turning the tide in favor of Earth’s life support life systems and transforming society’s relationship with nature, one ecoregion at a time.

Voices for biodiversity

Voices for Biodiversity’s mission is to build a diverse story-sharing community to save biodiversity. We find storytellers from around the world, gather their stories about biodiversity, and then amplify their voices by publishing the stories on our website. We also connect our storytellers with each other through our grassroots community, where they can share thoughts, ideas and resources to help save biodiversity. Voices for Biodiversity diversifies, publishes and expands the reach of voices speaking out on behalf of biodiversity. We do this by encouraging storytellers to find their individual voices, and then offering assistance in preparing their stories, photos and videos about nature to be shared with the world. Subsequent publication on our platform amplifies our storytellers’ voices to our readers, highlighting the impact they can have.
